"Bien commencer l’été avec Unimat et Sherwin-Williams"
The “Bien commencer l’été avec Unimat et Sherwin-Williams” contest is held by Groupe BMR inc. (the “Contest Organizers”). It runs online from May 17, 2017, at 12:00 a.m. to June 14, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. (the “contest duration”).
The Contest is open to residents of Québec, Ontario or New Brunswick who have reachedthe age of majority at the time of contest entry. Employees, representatives and mandataries of the Contest Organizers, of any company, corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated with them, their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of materials or services related to this Contest, as well as members of their immediate family (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), their legal or common-law spouse and any individuals with whom such employees, representatives and mandataries are domiciled are not eligible.
a. NO PURCHASE REQUIRED. To enter the contest, register on the website www.unimat.ca/sherwin-williams-contest.
b. Complete the mandatory fieldsin the entry form: first and last name, address, email, valid phone number where you can be reached weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and the answer to the mathematical question. The entry form will be available online as of 12:00 a.m. on May 17, 2017.
c. Then click the “Submit” button to enter the contest before June 14, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.
Four (4) prizes will be granted, each composed of a Unimat gift card of $5,000.
Value of each prize: $5,000
Total prizes’ value: $20,000
The winners will be selected on June 19, 2017, at 10:00 p.m., in Boucherville, at the Groupe BMR offices at 1501 Rue Ampère, suite 200. The random draw will determine the winner from all eligible entries that comply with these rules.
The selected winner must be contacted in person by the Contest Organizers at the number given in the entry form within three days of being selected or the Contest Organizers may select another winner, under the terms described in these rules. It is the responsibility of each contest entrant to provide a phone number at which they can be reached on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries accepted in compliance with these rules and the selections and exchanges made during the contest duration.
Before being declared a winner, each selected entrant must :
a) Correctly answer the skill-testing mathematical question on the entry form.
c) Be reached in person by phone by the Contest Organizers within three days of being selected as the winner.
d) Complete the Liability Waiver and Release form (the “Waiver”) received from the Contest Organizers and return it within five days after despatch.
e) Attest to having read, understood and followed the contest rules.
Verification. To be declared a winner, the entrant whose entry form was selected in the prize draw must meet the entry and eligibility conditions set out in these contest rules. Failure to fulfil any of these conditions will lead to automatic disqualification and another draw will be held to determine a new winner. The documents that allow contest entry are subject to verification by the Contest Organizers. Any document that is incomplete, illegible, mutilated, fraudulent, received or submitted late or that bears an invalid email address or phone number shall be rejected and shall not entitle a person to an entry or a prize, as the case may be.
Communication with the entrants. Groupe BMR inc. will inform the winner by phone and/or email. If Groupe BMR inc. is unable to contact any person selected in any or several of its draws for any reason whatsoever within 48 hours of the draw, Groupe BMR inc. will proceed with as many new draws as required among the remaining entry forms in order to award the prize. Groupe BMR inc. will inform the winner by email and/or mail and/or phone of the details related to the transmission of the prize. No communication or correspondence related to this contest shall be exchanged with entrants except as provided for in these contest rules or at the Contest Organizers’ initiative.
Property. The Waivers are the property of the Contest Organizers and shall not in any case be returned to entrants.
Personal information. . The entrants’ personal information collected for the purpose of the contest will only be used to administer the contest. No commercial or other communications unrelated to the contest will be sent to entrants unless they have otherwise agreed to receive such communications.
Acceptance of prize. The prize must be accepted as described herein and may not be transferred in whole or in part to another person or exchanged for another prize or for cash, except as described in the next paragraph.
Prize substitution. If it is impossible, difficult and/or more expensive for the Contest Organizers to award a prize (or part of a prize) as described herein, Groupe BMR inc. reserves the right to award a prize (or part of a prize) of the same nature and equivalent value or, at its entire discretion, the monetary value of the prize (or part of the prize) described in these contest rules.
Liability limit: Use of the prize. By entering this contest, all entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Organizers, any company, corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated with them, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, representatives and mandataries from any liability for any damage they may incur as a result of accepting or using their prize.
Prize warranty. If the prize includes a warranty, the winner must acknowledge that the sole and unique warranty that applies is that of the retailer and/or manufacturer of the prize, if any. Groupe BMR shall not be held responsible in this regard.
Authorization. By entering the contest, the winner authorizes Groupe BMR inc. to use, if required, their name, photograph, city, voice, image and/or statement about the prize for advertising purposes, without further compensation. Furthermore, the winner agrees for their full name and city of residence to be published on the contest website, without further compensation. The winner waives all moral rights and transfers to Groupe BMR inc. any economic right related to the use or publication of their name or image in relation to this prize, for advertising, commercial or other purposes.
Services. Any entrant selected for the prize acknowledges that once the prize has been awarded, the execution of the services related to the prize becomes entirely the responsibility of the supplier.
Disqualification. Any entry form or attempted entry using an electronic, computerized or other means contrary to the spirit of the contest (e.g., hacking, spamming, etc.) shall be automatically rejected and may be referred to the competent legal authorities. Any automated entry form will be identified and rejected. The Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify an entrant or cancel one or more entries of anyone who enters or tries to enter this contest using means that violate these rules or that are unfair to other entrants.
Operation of the site. Groupe BMR inc. in no way guarantees that the microsite will be available or accessible without interruption during the contest duration or that it will be free from errors. Groupe BMR inc. shall not incur any liability for any problem stemming from technical difficulties with the contest microsite, including, but not limited to: technical failure of networks or phone lines, online computer systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or any other problem stemming directly or indirectly from a virus, computer worm, bug or failure when sending emails to Groupe BMR inc. for any reason, including, but not limited to congestion of the Internet or a website or a combination of the two. Groupe BMR inc. shall not be held responsible for any damage affecting the entrants’ computer equipment due to entry in the contest.
Limit of liability: Functioning of the contest. Groupe BMR inc. is not responsible for noncompatibility or failure of the entrant’s computer equipment which may prevent appropriate entry in the contest.
Contest modification. Groupe BMR inc. reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend the contest without notice, subject to receiving any required approval from the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec.
Litigation. For residents of Québec, any litigation respecting the organization or conduct of a publicity contest can be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
Contest Organizers’ decision. Any decision by the Contest Organizers or their representatives regarding this contest is final and without appeal, subject to any ruling by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec on matters under its jurisdiction.
